RIIZE CONCLUDES FAN CONCERT, ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL DATES

Rookie K-pop boy band RIIZE successfully wrapped up its first fan concert, and announced additional dates for September.

Named the "2024 RIIZE FAN-CON 'RIIZING DAY' in SEOUL," the event took place at Seoul's Jamsil Arena, Songpa District last Friday and Saturday, drawing an impressive crowd of 10,000 fans.

The concert ignited with RIIZE's performance of "Siren," followed by a setlist including fan favorites like "Memories," "Get A Guitar," "Talk Saxy" and "Love 119." They also wowed the audience with creative covers, including British pop band One Direction's "One Thing."

The boy band also gave a preview of tracks from its upcoming album, featuring the pre-released "Impossible," along with "9 Days," "Honestly" and "One Kiss."

The excitement peaked with a surprise video teaser, hinting at a grand finale to the band's first tour slated for Sept. 14 and 15 at the KSPO Dome, located in Seoul's Olympic Park.

Closing the concert, the members of RIIZE expressed gratitude, saying, "We've always dreamed of having our own concert, and now that it's a reality, we're overwhelmed with gratitude. We thank everyone who joined us today. Let's journey together for the next 100 years."

Notably, Sungchan's emotional sentiments stirred quite a buzz online, given that he had debuted a second time as a member of RIIZE after withdrawing from his former group, NCT.

"I had this conversation with Shotaro (another former member of NCT who joined RIIZE) over a meal, but I've always wished for my own team. So, finally having a team to perform with is incredibly fulfilling and feels like a dream come true. I made a promise not to cry, but I'm sorry. Thank you all," Sungchan said.
