TAYLOR SWIFT STOPS ZURICH ERAS TOUR CONCERT TWICE TO HELP FANS AMID HIGH TEMPERATURES

Taylor Swift twice interrupted the opening night of her Eras Tour in Zurich, Switzerland to help fans struggling amid high temperatures.

The Grammy Award winner delighted crowds with her record-breaking show on Tuesday, performing to a sold-out Stadion Letzigrund. But the evening took a turn when the singer spotted fans in need of help while performing her song, "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)".

Thankfully, Swift was able to alert security, using her vantage point on stage to issue directions. According to reports, the artist directed stadium staff while singing. "We need some help right there," she said, before attempting to continue her performance. But seconds later, she interrupted the lyrics once more. "Help back there please," Swift added.

Stadium staff also helped during the day by providing water and rescue blankets to Swifties waiting in the sweltering temperatures, according to fans who attended the show.

It's not the first time Swift has needed to intervene to help fans as she plays a series of summer shows across Europe.

Last month, the singer interrupted her concert three times while performing her second show at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland. Once more, Swift called for help during "All Too Well", but she also spotted fans in distress during two further songs and informed security.

With several more European shows to follow this summer — the Eras Tour will continue for several more months, before ending in December 2024 — stadium staff will continue to be on high alert.

Swift is playing two more shows in Zurich this week before she travels to Italy ahead of her Milan shows this weekend. She's set to return to London in August, when she'll play five nights at Wembley Stadium, following on from three sold-out performances in England's capital in June. Swift's tour also took her to Liverpool, Cardiff, and Dublin earlier this year.
